FIFA International Transfer Certificates (ITCs) - Players
NORTHSIDE CHRISTIAN FOOTBALL CLUB
An International Transfer Certificate (ITC) is a certificate provided from one national association to another to facilitate the transfer of a player between countries.
Typically, there are three types of ITCs for football.
- ITCs for amateur adults
- ITCs for professional players
- ITCs for minors

- Pursuant to the FIFA Regulations, the international clearance process applies to a player aged 18 or over where that player’s immediately previous football registration was overseas.
- Pursuant to the FIFA Regulations, the international clearance process also applies to ANY minor player, being a player aged 10 to 18 years (Minor) seeking to register to play football in Australia at any level. (This FIFA policy is intended to protect players under the age of 18 from potential exploitation).
- Note: Children under the age of 10 do not require an ITC.

During the Player Registration Process, you will be asked questions that may trigger an ITC requirement. Your Registration will still proceed (Pending ITC approval), however, you will not able to play until the ITC is granted by Football Australia.
Please make sure to follow the flowchart within the ITC Guide, as well as reading the guide and explanatory notes carefully, as Football Australia cannot request an ITC unless all information is provided.
